Live streaming is something that will only increase in popularity as more people switch from regular cable to other online content channels, but it’s still a very common thing to do.
People live stream their video games, their thoughts and stories as well as just about anything else you could imagine, but there’s always limits based on what the community wants and desires. It’s a great way to make a little extra spending money if that’s what you’re looking for, but apparently it can also lead to lifelong trauma when the unexpected occurs.
Take these five streamers for example; they’re all somewhat popular in their niche and all have a history of hosting events such as these, but none of them could prepare for the completely unexpected and neither could their audiences!
If at any point you feel as though you’re safe or secure enough to post your home address online for thousands of other people to see – don’t. There’s absolutely nothing stopping a random troll from hijacking your information to use in whatever way they deem funny enough, and it could potentially land you in massive amounts of trouble. That being said, I couldn’t even begin to imagine the horror of an armed home intruder, let alone one who enters during a live stream! That poor girl.
