There’s a very real reason why so many advocacy groups are adamant that you should always wear your seatbelt while in a moving vehicle, and if anything can really drive that point home then this video will do it.
Coming to us from a Russian dash cam (don’t they always?) you’ll see a car come up on the left of the vehicle recording to pass it, and apparently did so without even checking whether any oncoming vehicles were there or not. That little mistake combined with not wearing their seat belts… Well, take a look for yourself and see what happens:
