Reporter Bloodied After Being Hit with Shrapnel on Live TV

You think you’re having a bad day at the office, wait until you see this guy!

Known as Ebrahim Al-Khateeb, this reporter was in Handarat, Syria recording the news for an opposition-affiliated Orient News network when disaster struck. A nearby explosion sent shrapnel flying towards the film crew, and everyone got down. No one in the crew was harmed by the blast aside from Ebrahim himself, who took a considerable amount of damage right to the face – all while they were still recording!
His crew managed to help him into the truck for a trip to the hospital, bloodied and disoriented, unable to grasp what just happened just yet. Luckily he survived the ordeal, but I don’t think he’ll want to go back out there anytime soon!
