Diego Andrés Dávila Jimenez from Bogotá Colombia was sitting in his 13th floor apartment when he received an alarming phone call. His neighbor's dog, Luna, was stuck in the balcony railing and hanging by only her hind legs. Diego rushed over to the neighbor's home and rang the doorbell, but no one was home. He knew he had to act quickly to save the dog. Another neighbor caught the rescue on video:
From the apartment directly below the balcony, Diego climbed up to save Luna, and he successfully got the dog and himself to safety! Diego wasn't scared at all. "I did not think of the consequences. I simply did not look down." When the neighbor came home an hour later, she was overjoyed and grateful that her dog was safe. Diego has become quite a hero for his actions, but one person is not impressed:
"I received a lot of scolding from my mother," Diego said.
