They don’t call them “Freshwater Killer Whales” for nothing.
These catfish have figured out a new way to gobble up pigeons. They actually swim to shore, then wiggle their way out of the water and pounce on the pigeons! Crazy! Poor birds had no clue that sipping some water from the safety of shore could end up becoming so deadly. These guys slither right up out of the water and their kill rate for this new form of hunting is so far around 28%. Pretty amazing pigeon hunting technique they’ve come up with!
