21-year-old Naomi Jael Covert, from the German town of Vilseck, is married to an American soldier and has been a mother for just a few months. At her best friend's wedding, someone took this snapshot, which she later posted on Instagram:
"When you are at a wedding, wear fancy dresses and high heels and your baby gets hungry, well...You give no shits and feed the kid. This is why I have breasts! 'Cause God gave me boobs for feeding my baby," writes the young mother in the caption. What she didn't expect was for the picture to be shared around the world and receive more than 12000 likes within just a few hours.
Despite many encouraging comments, some people still feel she should pump her breastmilk, cover herself and just not breastfeed at the table. To those people, Naomi had the following to say, "It's completely normal - I chatted with people while I was breastfeeding. It's not sexual at all. It's just somebody who is having a drink."
