Last week, a hiker in Germany made a gruesome discovery while strolling through the woods. A dog was dangling lifelessly from a tree, strangled by his own leash.
Warning, the photo below is not for the faint of heart!
The poor dog appears to be a young Schnauzer, around 2 years old. Unfortunately it is unknown who did this horrific act, and police are searching for any leads. It's so heartbreaking to see that someone would do something like this to a defenseless creature. No animal deserves to meet their end this way.
