If you ever find yourself waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of people rummaging through your house, are you going to sit quietly and wait for the police to arrive, or are you going to grab a handgun to ensure you can protect yourself and your belongings? There’s many people across the world that would all have a whole slew of differing reactions, but there’s one woman out there who didn’t even have to think about it.
Back on September 16th three armed men entered someone else’s home at around four in the morning to steal whatever they could. Upon entering the home they begin to survey everything that’s lying around, walking around the house flipping lights on and making a lot of noise for robbers in general when they woke up a female guest of the home owner. That was the absolute biggest mistake they could have made besides actually committing the crime that night, as when she woke up she grabbed her gun and opened fire, scaring them out of the home while on the phone with 911!
Two of the three men are still at large while the third, 28-year-old Antonio Leeks, was shot in the torso by the woman and died on the driveway. Police have offered a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of the remaining two unmasked men, so hopefully no one else will have to deal with these guys in the near future.
