People who suffer the most from war are always those who have nothing to do with its cause. Such was the case in this hospital when a heavily pregnant woman, who had been injured by a bomb, was brought in. As the doctors fight for her life and that of her unborn child, these dramatic and profoundly moving scenes played out.

The moment in which the baby opens its eyes is possibly the most stirring one that has been seen in a long time. These doctors are true heroes. In the middle of terrible fighting, they have nerves of steel and continue to save human lives. They have really earned respect for their courage and tenacity.
