If there’s one thing about driving in China that anyone could tell you is that the traffic is some of the worst in the world.
It’s so bad there that an entire Wikipedia page was created for the 110 traffic jam on China’s national highway! In order to try and combat the ever-growing number of vehicles on the road they’ve begun a number of new initiatives, this creative bus design being one.
Called the Transit Elevated Bus, it actually has room underneath it to allow cars to pass right underneath, which has a high probability of increasing the number of people to utilize it. Think about it this way, if you understand that driving will take over twice as long as riding the bus wouldn’t you choose to ride the bus instead? Plus, each one has the capacity to hold 1,200 passengers at a time!
