This can’t be real, right? Just watching this guy get bitten by two of the world’s deadliest snakes made me cringe, yet this amateur scientist from Wisconsin seems not only to be OK with it, he actually did it on purpose.

Tim Friede, 37, took it upon himself to develop a human vaccine for snake bites. His theory is that by letting himself get bitten by progressively more venomous snakes, he would develop immunity to their toxins. That theory cost him his marriage and nearly cost him his life on several occasions but after 160 bites in 16 years, he is now getting back to back bites from a black mamba and a taipan.
