HE WAS BORN WITHOUT BRAIN BUT HE DID SOMETHING AMAZING ON HIS SECOND BIRTHDAY


Medical conditions have often known to be present with birth, some are common, some rare. But some of them are just totally devastating and leave not even a bit of hope following them.
But we are humans, weak and yet, topping the food chain. We are fighters and we’ve strived against most things in our way. Such a fighter was born about two years back. He is a child without a brain yet what he did recently shows what true spirit of survival can make of one. This is the story of Aaron Murray of Lanarkshire, Scotland, now two years old.

THE BOY WHO LIVED!

The boy who lived!
When he was born, his mother was told to call in relatives since the doctors were not sure until when he will live on. They even called the church to baptize him, so that he can go with a name.

HOLOPROSENCEPHALY, THE RARE DISORDER WHEN YOUR BRAIN STOPS GROWING DURING DEVELOPMENT

Holoprosencephaly, the rare disorder when your brain stops growing during development
His X-ray and other scans showed that his brain has not grown enough to be “compatible with life”. Only his brain stem was formed and thus helped him breathe and maintain other body functions. The hollow in his head was filled with fluids.

THEY HAD ACCEPTED THE FATE, BUT HE DIDN’T LOSE FAITH HIMSELF

They had accepted the fate, but he didn't lose faith himself
And he kept going, surprising the doctors with every day he lived. And that went on for two years till today.

HIS SIBLINGS HAVE ACCEPTED HIM AND HE’S GROWING WITH LOVE

His siblings have accepted him and he's growing with love
Jack, his elder brother has taken on him to take care of him, and most of the time stays beside his brother.

OVER TIME, HE STARTED CLAPPING AND GIGGLING LIKE A NORMAL CHILD.

Over time, he started clapping and giggling like a normal child.

NEAR HIS SECOND BIRTHDAY, HE SPOKE, STRAIGHT OUT OF HIS HEART, “MUMMY”

Near his second birthday, he spoke, straight out of his heart, "Mummy"
And showed us, you don’t need a full brain to express love, only a heart. And love is all that matters.
