He took this photo and went to bed. The next morning he can’t believe his eyes.

If you believe our winters are full of snow, then you probably haven't been to Russia. The photos from Reddit-user awesomesauce1414 show the unbelievably wintery day in Kamtschatka, a peninsular in the east asian part of Russia.
In the evening the snow didn't look that bad.

But the next morning: "Oh man, where's my car?"

This type of blizzard is normal for winter in Kamtschtka.

Who would have thought it possible to have snow as deep as the forth floor?

Even if you make it out of the house to the car, it'd be hard to go any further.

To take the kids safely to school would be an adventure.

And when your car is finally free...

… it can take hours to get anywhere, because the snow-lane is only wide enough for one lane of traffic!

The locals are used to the chaotic conditions because it looks like this every year.

A huge snowplough tunnels its way through.
However it's really hard to move forward ...

… because the masses of snow melt again.
Herre it's useful to have a 4 wheel drive.

Whoever really likes snow, now knows where the best place is to spend the most reflective time of year.

If we can complain about the amount of snow that we receive here, then the inhabitants of Kamtschatka can only smile tiredly. Because of the particular geographic layout of the Russian peninsular, this snow chaos occurs reliably every winter.
