A Beautiful Lion Was Hunted And Removed From His Pride, But Wait 'Til You See Why

Normally, we here at ViralNova would see a team of humans tracking down and capturing a lion from a sanctuary as cause for alarm. But in the case of Aslan, a white lion living on the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary, it was necessary.

Because of chronic tooth pain, Aslan was becoming less social and more isolated.

This chronic pain affected his abilities to eat properly and participate in daily pride activities. Sanctuary founder Kevin Richardson teamed up with dental companies Fixodent, Kukident, and Blend-a-dent, as well as some of the most skilled veterinary dentists, to give Aslan the dental work he needed.

The dentists worked for six hours and repaired four of Aslan's teeth using dental prosthetics. After a short recovery period, Aslan's pain subsided and he was back to his old self.

With a new set of teeth, Aslan is much happier and is once again a member of his pride.

You can learn more about Aslan and his recovery on the Saving Aslan website and on Fixodent's Facebook page. Today, Aslan is living a much more comfortable life on the sanctuary.
